- Consist of customer interface unit (CIU) and metering interface units (MIU).
- Contains all critical metering parameters, adequate to prevent tampering, meter tampering identification on LCD display at CIU.
- LCD on CIU also display remaining credit.
- Three level credit LED display on CIU and MIU.
- Non-volatile EPROM for memory, accuracy class 1
- Polycarbonate top cover meter and optical port..
- CIU and MIU communicate through wire connection.
Single phase Smart meters:
- Split type, din rail/BS type, GPRS based prepaid meters.
- Current Rating: 5(60) amps.
- Compliant with DLMS/COSEM protocol.
- Downlink (from CIU to MIU): PLC/RF, Uplink(to/from MIU to Hand End System): GPRS
- Tamper proof capabilities, remote reconnection / disconnections and alarm/events logging.
- Two sets of programmable tariff structure i.e. Time of use tariff, and service based tariff.
- Measure: Import & export power, Maximum demand, load management, load trends, load on all three phases.
- Multichannel information sharing through Head End System and Meter Data management System for real time monitoring.
- CIUs can be configured to other features like broad band hotspot, content development, etc.
Three phase non-smart meters:
- Split type, BS static prepaid meter, 10(100) amps.
- In addition to features in the single phase meters, three phase non-smart meters also have the following:
- Accuracy class 1 for active and class 2 for reactive
- LCD display on CIU & MIU
- Zero lag-unity-zero lead power factor indication

- Current rating: 10(100) amps.
- In addition to features in the single phase smart meters, three phase smart meters also have the following:
- Accuracy class 1 for active and class 2 for reactive

Weather-proof Meter Boxes
Our facility produces meter boxes with transparent cover which are tamper-proof with the capacity to contain one, two, four and eight-in-one electricity meters. This helps the Utilities achieve economies of scale.
Our meter boxes are made of Polycarbonate (PCB) and Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS). The combination of these quality materials optimizes the thermal and mechanical properties inherent thereby making our meter boxes durable, weather resistant, protected against ultraviolet degradation and lightweight making installation easy.
